With spectacular views overlooking wonderful Watermouth Cove, 35 acres of gardens, woodland, pastures and a private beach on National Heritage Coastline, Widmouth Farm Cottages offer the perfect setting for people of all ages.   

Situated midway between Ilfracombe and Combe Martin - The Gateway to Exmoor. 

Open all year for long or short breaks. Children & pets welcome.

Bed & Breakfast with a difference! Instead of a room in the owners house - your own cottage with private sitting room, TV/video (Freeview provides radio too). Breakfast par excellence in the most magnificent modern farmhouse kitchen. You are asked to choose the night before and there are daily specials prepared individually for you. At breakfast you will enjoy views across the fields to the sea about 500 yards away. At high tide you can watch boats going in and out of Watermouth Harbour. You can also see the sheep ambling by just outside the window. A real country experience! 

Visitors to Widmouth Farm are free to roam our 35 acres of National Heritage coastland where stories abound of brandy smugglers and pirate ships hiding in the bay and caves. The television dramatisation of Enid Blyton's 'Five on a Treasure Island' was filmed on our private beach in 1996.   

The cottages have been tastefully converted from a round barn (which housed a 'jenny ring'), stone barns and workers cottages c.1800. VisitBritain inspects the premises annually and has awarded us 3 Star Quality Grading as we maintain high standards of cleanliness and comfort.
