LOXHORE
If you want a really relaxing and quiet stay in lovely surroundings, consider Rosehill Barn, hidden away in a
superbly beautiful corner of North Devon, set in rolling countryside and overlooking a wooded valley. This newly
restored barn lies in the grounds of Hill, a 15th century, Grade II* Open Hall House. Hill is the oldest house in the
hamlet in Loxhore, some seven miles from Barnstaple and close to Exmoor.
There’s no need to get into your car for really good local walks, as we’re surrounded by them, as well as all the other attractions of Exmoor and North Devon.
The accommodation comprises a beamed suite of rooms, comprising a spacious sitting room, king-size double bedded room
and a Jacuzzi bathroom. There is full central heating, complimentary tea and coffee making, hair dryer, colour TV and a
radio/CD player. There is also a secluded spot outside with table and chairs for your use.
Breakfast, served in the historic Open Hall of the main house, can be as light or as full as you’d like! An Aga cooked breakfast is certainly popular, as are our home made preserves.
