Leeford Cottage
Hi! Phillip and Gwyn Linley wish you a very
warm welcome to Leeford - The different B&B.
Why different? You ask...well because...We really do give
you a hearty and friendly welcome and love to make our
guests feel thoroughly at home. We have a beautiful
home in a fabulous location.
The cottage is 400 years old with all that you would
expect from such an aged house - beams, inglenooks, log
fires, very prettily decorated rooms and superb views
from all sides.
Brendon, the village, is tucked away in a hidden valley nestling between the glorious North Devon coast, and Exmoor, famed for it's wild ponies and red deer. It's a haven of peace and tranquillity. The East Lyn river bustles under pack horse bridges yards from the cottage. In one direction you'll find the historic Doone valley and in another Watersmeet with it's cascading waterfalls.
We don't "rip
folk off". Our prices for B&B and also for
evening dinner are extremely reasonable.
Leeford
has two double rooms (one with private facilities) and
also a twin room. Each room is very pretty sporting hand-made
patchwork quilts and hand-painted furniture. They are
equipped with hot and cold water, tea and coffee making
facilities and beautiful rural views.
We keep the cottage spotless and
observe the highest standards of hygiene. No bugs here!!
All the rooms are thoroughly serviced daily. For that 'home-from-home' feel, a
guests lounge is also available. With a host of beams and
an inglenook fireplace which welcomes you in on cold
nights with a roaring fire, you can look forward to
relaxing in comfort. A TV and radio are also available.
