This is a romantic, riverside retreat, quiet and private in the depths of the
Devon countryside. It is unique: the perfect place for those special times when
you want to relax, unwind and sink into peace and tranquillity. Dogs are now welcome and have their own entrance
and linked accommodation.
The Folly is
beautifully furnished with antiques, which include a George III four-poster bed, roll top bath and circular Georgian washstand. There is a
charming open-plan studio
kitchen. Large glazed double doors open onto a planted garden terrace with the
river gently burbling by.
Birdsong and the sound of sheep in the pasture beyond
induce a wonderful sense of well being and mobile phones have no reception!
Bratton Mill is on the edge of the Exmoor National Park and is set in 26 acres
of private woods and pastureland.
It is close to the dramatic North Devon coast
with its beautiful sandy beaches and the magnificent Coastal Path and one can
also explore the many footpaths close to the Folly.
In the surrounding
countryside there are many charming village pubs and restaurants. Dining at The
Folly can also be arranged.
Champagne and flowers on arrival.
