We fell in love with our apartment and purchased it in
2005. Having spent many of our holidays on Exmoor over the last 30 years we wanted a property that was something special
that we could make as comfortable as our own home. We believe we have achieved this.
The accommodation is spacious and well proportioned. From every room there are spectacular views to the Countisbury headland, Sillery Sands, Lynmouth Bay, the Bristol Channel, the Welsh Coast and the Watersmeet Valley. Wake up in the morning with the sun rising over the Headland and watch the changing views throughout the day. They are simply out of this world.
This first floor apartment is part of a small select
development, Castle Heights, which was completed in 2005. Access to Countisbury is by a security door, lift and
staircase. It has 2 double bedrooms, a lounge/dining area, a fully fitted kitchen and a bathroom with full sized bath
and shower. The kitchen is equipped with a comprehensive range of appliances, including full size oven, hob, microwave,
fridge/ freezer, fully integrated dishwasher, and washing machine/dryer. We have added a number of other items to
enhance the stay, making Countisbury a real home from home.
Outside is a dedicated car parking space and all guests have access to the private grounds with seating and the viewing gazebo, both of which look out over Exmoor and the sea.
We have ensured that the apartment has all the equipment
for a memorable holiday. In the lounge is a TV with DVD player and a selection of DVDs, a music centre and a selection
of CDs, guides and family games. We have also provided an iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner, high chair, travel cot
and telephone (honesty box). In the main bedroom is a second colour TV.
An initial stock of washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, dish cloths, bin liners, toilet roll, kitchen roll and soap is provided, as is bed linen and towels (not beach).
For the comfort of all our guests we do not allow dogs
and the apartment is a non smoking zone!
Weekly bookings start on a Friday. We are very happy to take enquiries for short breaks out of season.
