Your charming and friendly hosts Brian and Penny Lippett have dedicated several years sympathetically renewing this charismatic Victorian house giving it a touch of 21st century comfort but still maintaining the original features and fire places where ever possible.

The Lynton restaurant is fast becoming the most talked about eating place in Lynton & Lynmouth. Here's why...

Brian Lippett, the owner of the restaurant, plays a leading role in the service provided to guests during the evening creating a relaxed ambience unavailable elsewhere in the region, coupled with the fact that all the food is prepared in the kitchen by Penny Lipppett, who is also a partner in the business and has been trained by Austrian chef Bert Pegutter to a high standard.

Penny prefers to use local ingredients and produce in all her cooking whenever possible Penny often makes an appearance in the dinning area after the last meal has been cooked as she likes to talk with the guests and makes sure that they are happy and enjoying there evening.

Due to the shape of the victorian building there are three large windows and french doors giving a wonderful backdrop to the surrounding area and in the summer months you could dine alfresco if you book your table early enough.
